Been Busy, have not blogged in forever....therefore a long post!

I don't think anyone even blogs anymore....but for my own memory I think it's still a good idea once in awhile.
We have had an eventful last few months, and hectic at that as well.  We spent the first part of November in good ole California visiting Seaworld, the beach and 3 days in Disneyland, and all this while being 7 months pregnant and it actually was really not that bad all things considering.  I have never had a problem swelling up, even after walking all day long, although my feet were pretty tired by the end of the day, I survived  the trip and enjoyed the break.  Neither Alyda or Zaylin have ever spent a vacation away so this was a huge shocker to them, I don't think they were prepared for so much to do at one time, so I am thinking the next time we visit the land of Disney, it may be a little less surprising...in a good way!  I know they had a fun time, but asking Alyda if she was ready to go back, she said she was not quite ready to do that again so soon.

I love how my kids are just so easily content and entertained at home, even taking them to the children's museum is fun for only a bit (they have only been a couple of times) but just as we were close to being done one day after a couple of hours Alyda turned to me and said that she just wanted to go to the park to play. I turned to Zach and said we shouldn't bother at these places because it is always the same thing.....all I can say is WHATEVER!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family this year (we take turns every other year).....we have been meeting at a gymnastics gym for the last several times that I can think of when it is my family's turn together (perfect for all of us to fit together).  I have a sister that manages the gym (some of her kids have become some major athletes as well) but the place is perfect as it is a giant kid/adult playground with tramps, foam pits, swinging ropes, and of course typical gymnastic equipment.  We even have a place to sit and eat a nice dinner together, we always love the location....so much better than a crowded house or dull church building.

I can't believe as of now that Christmas has already come and gone again....but again we enjoyed it all the same....food, family and fun.....not even chaotic.  We spent time with Zach's family on a off day of Christmas, which was perfect for not having to be early anywhere on Christmas Day.  We actually had no plans on Christmas so it was so relaxing at home.  My mom came to visit and had dinner it was just....nice. My family is so random at Christmas....usually we will get together at some point during the holiday and we had a nephew returning from a mission that same week so we spent time together then, it worked out great.  I think our neighbor was a little jealous...he was out helping Zach shovel on Christmas Eve and was just getting ready to leave for the night with his family for a sleepover for Christmas celebrations somewhere. He couldn't believe that we were free of the craziness.  I like it both ways...but it is nice to NOT have to be anywhere too!
We of course also had our share of getting colds....this year was BAD, everyone and their dog was sick and the nasty air did not help the situation, plus being SO pregnant. I usually recover from stuff fast....this time around it was actually longer than a week.....not fun while prego.
New Year's was again spent at home....we like that for the kids....because we always do major celebrating with the typical confetti and noisemakers and FOOD....but when they are done we are home and can go to bed...it's great!
Man this a looooong post!!!
We celebrated Zay's birthday on January 8th and he turned "2"......can I just say what a love I have for this little guy...he is so sweet and tender but all boy at the same time.  He has learned so much so fast and I thank the fact that he has a awesome older sister that spends so much time with him.  They get along so well and I couldn't be more grateful to have both of them.   We are ever so excited for Avery to arrive and join us too, he will fit so well here.  I can hardly believe I only have a couple more weeks to go...all I can say is hoooooray.....this pregnancy has again been easy, for I have had no complications.......but very uncomfortable, and chasing and lifting 2 other children makes it seem more difficult to say the least.
I think, we are ready for this new year of 2013 and all that will come with it...good's and bad's and probably busier I am sure, but we are always looking forward and trying to enjoy every day as it comes!
