Tampika or better known as "Pika"....turned 10 yearsold this month so I thought it a good idea to write a little bit about who this 2lb dog is.  She has been the best and most wonderful dog anyone could ask for.  She got me through some of the toughest times in my life and I loved that I could count on her everytime I needed a friend to come home to.  She has always been extremely tiny and fragile so I have always taken extra special care of her, even to the point that some question whether she is indeed an actual dog.  She never barks, she is very timid but so sweet to everyone.  Kids love her, almost sometimes to death so we have to be very careful when we allow the young ones to play with her.  One of Alyda's first words was Pika although it sounded more like "Tita".  To this day Alyda chases Pika around the floor and laughs at her rabbit like hops that she does, one time I was at the park with Pika and someone actually mis took her for a rabbit and asked if I Bred them, I was like "uh this is a dog".  Yeah her ears can be mistaken for rabbit ears on her ever so small head, but I love her all the same.  I was going to post her puupy pictures but that was back in the day when I used film cameras, digital was still too expensive, that shows you how long it really has been.  I hope she has many more years to come.

So cute! That picture of pika and the turkey is like the Shel Silvestien poem about eating a whale. Do you remember that one? Oh I love the cuteness of everything. Happy Spring! Happy Birthday Pika!

Don't ever do that to me again! I looked at your blog and just saw tons of pictures of Pika and I thought to myself, "Crap, she died." I was happy to see that you are just wishing her a happy birthday though. Make sure sure to give her lots of "treats" and "cozies" to celebrate! She is truly one of a kind and I chob her!
