OCTOBER 2011

This year I decided not to make much effort in creating costumes for Halloween, like I had last year....it just took too much time and frustration making them. So this year we recycled, all except Alyda, she insisted on being a "Butterfly Princess" so we found her a costume. Zaylin used one of Alyda's old costumes and was a Bat, an I used my old butterfly wings to match Alyda.  Zach gave up on his Bat costume as soon as he started so VOILA, here we are up against my brother Alex's and his wife Jessy's family and their diligent efforts they make every year, (in part due to my nephew Jonas's birthday party).  It was a fun Halloween being with fam and sharing the fun of a birthday, despite our lack of costume creation.

My little Zay-man, loves Alyda's doll stroller, he pushes it around all day...I had to take a picture cause it looked so funny, him pushing around this pink stroller! And he is so happy about it too!

Just out enjoying some "REAL" Fall weather...it was so nice!

We spent a lot of time at parks, playing soccor and eating doughnuts....it's one of Alyda's favorite things to do apparently....she just aks me occasionally if we can go get a doughnut, (WHAT?).....I don't know why, and it's sorta weird coming from a 3 year old who hasn't had very many doughnuts in her life (maybe she remebered the time way back when she was 9 months old and she had her very first taste of a powdered doughnut), but hey what the heck, how do you say no when it is such a sweet little voice asking,  for DOUGHNUTS...

I am so sad to say goodbye to "Fall", my absoulute favorite season.....but we welcome the holidays to come with open arms and plenty of excitement!
