Some of these challenges will not necessarily apply to me, since I have been blogging for awhile now and may have already shared some things....but I needed something NEW to blog about other than just the kiddos!  I was thinking I might actually learn something about myself too!  Thanks to my niece Amy who had the idea on her blog....

(I have the longest name, It's a good thing I don't have to write it out often)

Challenge one: 15 interesting facts about me.....hmmmmmm ok,

1- I am sometimes too organized for my own good, and it is now rubbing off on Alyda and trust me this can be a good thing, but also very, very frustrating to deal with, let's just leave it at that.

2- I love to be comfortable and that is all that matters to me when it comes to buying clothing. I am no stylist whatsoever, but secretly want to have someone someday show me some new and exciting leaps in my wardrobe.  Who wants to take that challenge????

3- Hate-Hate-Hate worms....that is my excuse for not being the gardening type. If I even come across one when it's raining outside and I almost step on it I freak out!

4- My hair is truly blond, despite all the many people that are convinced it is colored. 
(Do you actually think I would spend that amount of money every few weeks to upkeep...I don't think so!!!!)

5- I have to have painted toenails, but hate polish on my fingernails, drives me insane.

6- I wear the same jewelry every day...wedding ring (love it and it's my fave piece of jewelry) and on my other hand is my Noah's ark CTR ring and a plain silver ring I made in jewelry class, a watch for sure, Oh and the same studded earrings that no one probably notices but, have to wear them everyday.  and occasionally  I will put on a necklace. ( this also stems back to answer #2)

7- My house decorations consist of mostly pictures, don't have allot of Nick knack things. One day I think I will have more plants...I have two that I have kept alive for many years and hope I can keep that up.  I guess having Photography as a hobby takes a toll on my house!

8- well the appropriate answer here is 8 is my favorite #, probably stems from being baptized at 8, not sure.  Had Alyda in 2008, Zaylin was born on the 8th, married Zach on the 9th and that is the day after the 8th so  that counts still, and maybe, just maybe I can keep this going. 

9- Zach and I sleep in seperate blankets on our bed, in fact we have the most unmade bed there is, we don't use a comforter whatsoever, just a bottom sheet and our blankets....oh and it is so nice! Oh and I have at least 2 pillows myself, sometimes 3.

10-I love hot tamales and kettle corn together, and you have to chew them together...need I say more, try it if you haven't! Perfect movie treat.

11- When I was younger I wanted to move to Washington to study orca whales for a living.  Still would not mind taking on that job...but I am a little pre-occupied with more important things, maybe someday.  I have gone whale watching up in Washington and the San Juan Islands now twice in my life and keep looking forward to the next trip every time I leave there. (Zach also served his mission in this area, and he loves it too, I tell ya we are meant to be)

12- Not a car person, but if I could say that I have a "Dream Car" so to speak, it would be a Subaru Tribeca

13-I love that both Zach and I come from Dutch backgrounds...his grandparents (mom's parents) are from there, and my dad is originally from Utrecht Holland

14- Love that I have a Huuuuge family, 10 Brothers, 9 Sisters, 4 Bro in laws, 3 sis in laws, 9 nieces, 15 nephews, 3 great nephews, 5 great nieces. and this isn't even Zach's side we have on his side, 1 sister, 4 brothers, 1 bro in law, 4 sis in laws, 6 nephews, 4 nieces. WOW is that everyone I think!!!
Oh and of course us. (and still much more to come from all this)

15- I made it to 15, that is a miracle, that was kinda fun....good job Lindsey!!!
OK the final fact about me is drum roll please......I speak out loud to myself all the time....I find it easier to talk my way through things when no one else is around, I have to laugh sometimes when I am doing it cause I will even say my own name, like I am actually talking to someone!!!!!
