Alyda experiencing new and fun things in Utah, this was at Thanksgiving Point, when all the new baby animals had arrived. She enjoyed it all, but especially this pony ride. I thought she might be a little afraid at first but she was having the time her life on this mini horse, it was so much fun. It is weird that she had to be wearing her jacket and mittens on this day in MAY, but this day was colder than some winter days we had, I was very glad I was prepared. As soon as the pony ride was over everyone that had been outside ran for shelter, it was sooooo cold!!!!

Good ole Children's museum....I remember loving this place when I was a kid, I loved the pretend store and all the other cool scientific things they had there. Since my time as a kid they have sinced moved it to a newer location and changed it a little, but still very worth it for the kids for the day. This place kept Alyda going and having so much fun, as you can see from some of the pics. she had her own shopping experience with her own cart and grabbing items off the shelf, she also loved the gardening area where she could pick her own vegetables and then roll them off this conveyor belt thing into her own tractor with a trailer. Anway, 2 floors of fun and learning.

I can't believe my little girl will be "2" coming up on July 17th, she has grown up so very much (but slowly, she still is on the petite side of things), but makes up for it in her smartness, she talks like she is one of us and has picked up on her letters, numbers, shapes and colors so very fast. We are so very proud of her and am exited for the years to come.
